Who
we are

Effie's Taqueria is the newest concept from the Nagar family, who've spent 24 years running Talia's Steakhouse & Bar just down the block on Amsterdam Avenue. Effie and his sons grew up in the kitchen there, and this is their take on something faster and more informal: Israeli flavors, folded into a taco.

Same neighborhood, same family, same hands in the kitchen — just a smaller, sharper menu built for delivery and pickup.
